Our story begins in Finland in 1952. The country was still recovering from World War II and was preparing to host the 1952 Summer Games. Wanting to welcome global visitors, but concerned with how to serve them drinks fast enough, the government commissioned the creation of a refreshing and revolutionary new liquor drink, and thus the first long drinks were born. This has since evolved into an enormously popular category of alcohol in Finland.

Fast forward 70 years to the next generation of Finns who wanted the world to experience their take of the refreshing and unique drink of their homeland. Thanks to them, this iconic beverage is now available in America in a variety of flavors, bringing the refreshingly different taste of Finland's favorite drink right to you. The Partners
Miles Teller
Soon after Long Drink launched in the US, Miles Teller stopped into a bodega in his old Lower East Side neighborhood where the founders of Long Drink were having a tasting event. Miles loved the drink so much that he decided to invest in the brand a few months later.

Kygo
Not long after, Miles invited his friend Kygo to DJ his wedding. There, Kygo tried The Long Drink for the first time. Being Norwegian, the concept of a long drink was not new to him, but the quality of the product was so undeniable that he decided to become a part of the family.

Rickie Fowler
The Long Drink train just kept rolling from there. Kygo introduced it to Professional golfer Rickie Fowler, who loved the crisp, refreshing taste and didn't want to be left out of such a great opportunity, so he too joined the team.
